Horses are beautiful and amazing but there is more to horses than what meets the eye. I curated a list of quotes about horses and healing, because horses have a unique ability to help people heal.

Physically horses can help you build your strength, balance, coordination and flexibility that you need in everyday life.

Mentally and emotionally horses can take away stress, the pressures of life, help you have better focus, help you be in a better mood.

Spiritually horses can bring you to a better place. They can cause your spirit to become more empathetic, kind, positive and hopeful.

These are just some examples of how horses heal us. Write in the comments ways horses have healed you whether your heart, your body, or your mind.

For me, my horses have been there when I felt like I was all alone in the world, when I was at my lowest of lows. Many tears have fallen into my horse’s manes. They would stand there with me and just be, listening to everything I had to say, not knowing what I was saying but knowing I needed them. I remember when they licked my tears, when they blew their nostrils into my hair, rested their head on my shoulder. So many times I have been stressed, depressed, anxious, overwhelmed and going to the barn, spending time with the horses just gives me a release like I can breath again, like everything is going to be okay. I don’t know what I would have done without horses in my life. They have been a light in the darkness and are truly a blessing from God. I think God created horses to help us more than we think.

So here is a list of quotes talking about the healing gift horses bring us, as well as perspective on life horses can give us.
